FIRE PROCEDURE
In the event of an emergency, the hotel safety department will advise all our guests of the type of alarm. We kindly request that you familiarise yourself with the location of the emergency exits,
fire extinguishers, as well as with the following instructions. Please observe and locate the nearest emergency exit, fire alarm,
fire extinguisher and wall hydrant, when going to your room.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU CANNOT LEAVE YOUR ROOM?
• Phone the Front Office at 600.
• Remain in your room if the exit is blocked. Place wet towels and sheets against the foot of the door to prevent smoke from entering your room. If the fire reaches the windows from the outside, at least no material will set alight.
• Fill the bathtub with water and keep pots ready for use as extinguishing water vessels so that you can keep the towels and sheets at the door wet.
• Make yourself noticeable and wave a sheet at the window as a signal to the fire brigade that your room is occupied. Remain on the floor. Cover your mouth and nose with a damp cloth to ease breathing. Do not break any windowpanes unless this is unavoidable. They help to prevent draughts of air feeding the fire.
• Consider your actions carefully and remain calm.

WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE?
• If there is smoke or a fire in your room, leave it at once.
• If possible, close all doors near the fire in order to prevent it from spreading.
• Please do not take any personal risks; only attempt to put out small fires with the aid of an extinguisher, if it is safe to do so.
Take your key with you when leaving your room. Always keep it in the same place in the room.
• Please stay calm.

A depiction of the route you have to follow in case of fire is located on the door of each suite.
